ok i cut the big horn off the sucker and left a lip to put the hose back on like stock in order to recirculate it back to the intake. the bov is mad quiet. its still preety loud if i vent it to the atmosphere. but when i recirculate it its very quiet and i hear the fluttering. the fluttering is normal right?

p.s. i like the quietness, sleeper type  and if i want it to be noisy ill disconnect it and plug the hose up :dsm:

why did you buy an rfl when you want the quiet sleeper type sound? would have been alot easier to buy a bov that is supposed to recirculate, not one that was designed to be the loudest bov available....

you again? LOL we been through this already i told u i got it from my old car so why buy a new one when u got one. thanks... later.

The fluttering means that you either:

1) Are using too many washers, or

2) Haven't lubed the piston well enough.

If 1), take a washer or two out. I normally used 3-4 when I had my H34, which is the same as yours but designed to recirculate. If 2), take the brass piston out of it and rub some oil or grease on it so it slides in and out of the cylinder easier. You'll need to reapply whenever the fluttering returns.
