I did some searching, but no convincing info. I've got several badly damaged EPROM turbo ECU's laying around and need to get some vehicles on the road.
I'm interested in what people can tell me about the commonality of the ECU's. Between 1.8., 2.0 and 2.0T. If they were all EPROM can the chips be simply swapped? (I realize the need to socket it first, so consider it done already) If I had an EPROM NT 1.8 ECU and plugged in a chip from the blown 2.0T ECU, would it work. Or is there code in the main chip on the board specific to each motor. (ie on what chip are the fuel curves on?)
