This past summer I had a built short block with FP3065, 1250's, walbro 255, 4" intake, stock exhaust manifold to 2.5" turbo back, VRSF FMIC with short route piping and a 1g bov. Stock head and intake manifold. It was moderately tuned on 26psi and I wasn't very impressed with the outcome. I am in the process of putting my new parts on the car (updated in profile) before spring time hits and I am hoping to hit 600, if I don't make it to 600 to the wheels then I want to change turbos. Any suggestions? Keep in mind, this is on a street FWD car. Thanks

Oops sorry. E85. Had -8an supply and -6an return with a fuel lab filter and pressure regulator

For your power goals and supporting mods, I'd suggest upgrading your exhaust to at least a 3" turboback for starters. 2.5" exhaust is really only good to around 300-350hp at best. You will probably need to go to more aggressive cams, springs, and other internals as that kind of power is usually made well after the stock redline. You may or may not decide you need to upgrade the turbo, there should be tons of information out there regarding the power potential (the 3065=65lb/m). But it sounds like for now, you need to work on catching up on supporting mods for your turbo and power goal.

Maybe he likes the "ice skating" feel.... I have no experience with E85, but I understand that you can lean out E85 into the 12s vs. pump gas you'd want to stay in the 11.0-ish area. What's you're A/F look like? Can you advance a little more timing? Have you tried?

I kept the timing stock last time. The tune was very basic. A fellow dsm around me has an hx40 on his fwd car, and I would like to go a different route. I was debating on getting one of FP35s or one of the ball bearing PTEs and doing an AWD swap next winter.
