Wait a minute, you have a sun roof, I thought only the GS/X/T got a sun roof? Was that a custom job? I agreed with iowaboostin get the 95-99 side skirts and the 97-99 front end. I will do the same thing instead of buying a body kit that eveyone has and looks ricey.

Nope the sunrood is def. not a custom job, someone just payed for it as an option from the factory i guess. If you dont believe me, shall i take picutres of the shitty ass rear drums for you?? :laugh:

Also i like that lip alot, anyone know any good sites to buy it at?

i'm buying a black 2gb Talon and i was wondering if anyone has taken off the stock spoiler and put on a 97-99 Turbo Spoiler, does anyone have pics? also has anyone put on 97-99 GSX rims? what are your opinions?

2 local talons are using the 97+ turbo eclipse spoiler. IMO it doesn't look right.

those are usually called a 'halo' spoiler.

Id keep the 2gb halo. It goes with the aggressive body stylilng of the 2gb Talon.

IMO i really like the eclipse turbo spoiler but it just doesnt look right in any way on a talon. because the roof is black...

This picture looks awesome, but how come it has black handles and doesn't have that door molding that comes on the 97+ talon? I would like to see this car with that stuff on it too.

I had a turbo spoiler on my talon once. If you pull the interior panel off the bottom of the hatch you'll be able to see where it is to be bolted on. The holes are marked on each side and the in'er holes to our hatch (2 ply metal) hole notched for wrench. This info should make your install easier.

Non turbo 97+ talons didn't have the side molding or body colored door handles. Atleast not all of them.

I think he is going with white and black theme. Its a talon so his roof and door handle is black so far. Im not sure but he'll probaly get CF hood also that is 2gb Eclipse Sideskirt... I'm going to do the same but its going to be Red & Black theme. Black roof, CF spoiler, CF hood, Red body with Black rims... I think that would look hot tho..

I'm definetly planning on getting the turbo spoiler for my 95 once i get the 97 rear on it.

My question is this. Do they bolt on just like the normal 97 gst/gsx because I've actually seen like a 3 peice rear spoiler kits that mimmicks or somewhat resembles the turbo spoiler, but looks cheap as hell. It almost resembles a VR4 spoiler.

Am I overlooking this? Can i just go to a junkyard and snag one off, paint it, and bolt it on?

Appreciate the help.

just to let you know...the "turbo" spoiler that come on the 97-99 gs-t/x will not just bolt up on your car, even with a 97-99 rear on it. the low 3 piece spoiler that comes on your car bolts to the hatch lid and the fenders. the "turbo spoiler bolts to the hatch lid only. so you would have the holes on the fenders for the outer pieces of your spoiler to patch. i have seen the 3 piece "vr-4" style spoiler (wings west) you are talking about but do not know if it can use your existing holes. contact wings west and ask.

i read about stealth owners switching to 3kgt spoilers all the time,.. you can fill the holes pretty easily, just go to 3si.org and ask, or search and find your answer... and if you get the 97 rear fenders and everything it would work, ....

I never knew rear fenders were replaceable, on my car they seem to be connected to the top of the car.

The fenders are welded to the car. You can brake the welds to remove, and reweld to replace.

It's much easier to replace the entire hatch section for the spoiler for a GSX wing. If you want just the 3 piece mitsu wing you're going to have to fill and drill some holes.

Well you guys know my car, you know the bumpers are all going back to 2bg..but should I put back the GSX oem spoiler?

It was taken off by the previous owner when he put the body kit on.

Give me your .02 cents. Not just yes or no..explain your reason why, or why not to put the spoiler on.
