About how much $ am i looking at spending to switch my low spoiler for the Turbo spoiler? thanks

If you are looking to do it the right way. You are looking to spend $600+ for everything.

Turbo Spoiler will cost around 150. But the body shop will have to take the old one off, weld the holes. And then repaint the hatch. That is where all the costs come from.

It cost me 650 to get it done. I also had the antenna shaved at the same time.

160 for the spoiler
65 for the hidden antenna
425 to get all the holes filled and repainting of the quarter pannels and rear decklid.


It isn't cheap but if your gonna do it your better off in the long run if you do it rite.

There is no way around it. I have been looking into in for a good time now. If you want it done right you gotta kick up that paycheck.

I am debating on doing it too. I am def doing the turbo, IC and injectors first but I really want the full conversion.

I had it done, and paid 140 for the spoiler shipped and then 300 for it to be painted and put on. That price included shaving the antenna and filling the holes, we have a guy around here that does all of the custom body work on cars around here, and he is reasonable and does a good job. The body shop was gonna charge me 1000 and that is not paying for the new spoiler or the antenna.

I got it done for $350 including the spoiler... get quotes from all the shops around, if you can find a small business that just does paint on the side their usually cheaper. In my case they were just 2 dudes that were trying to get started, they did alot of work for Hot Import Nights cars too, I was very happy at the cheapness

As everyone said, the filling of the old holes and repainting them is where it is going to hurt the most. Look around and find someone who can do it for a good price and does good work as well. There is always people who are doing body work for a good price.

Hey guys, I am starting to do my 99 conversion to my 96. The first thing I did was the spoiler. Ill eventually have the front/rear, and side skirts. I actually think it doesnt look to bad with the 96 body style. Oh by the way i know I have crazy wheel gap im leaving it up for the winter here. Heres some pics.

I'm interested in seeing this as well. I have seen it before and I don't like the high wing with the 2Ga rear. In fact I prefer the 2Ga rear and low wing, or no wing at all. Has your car been painted? If not the paint looks phenomenal.

I bought the car with a smashed hood, head light and scuffed bumper, i got the car for almost nothing and i brought it to my uncle who owns collision revision. From the doors forward it has been repainted, with a new hood bumper and head lights, and some minor engine parts. Paint looks perfect in my opinion. Heres a picutre of when i got it.

I def. agree that it looks like the paint is in great condition.. I like the 2gb turbo spoiler with the 2ga front, curvy + curvy = goodness Personally, I think you could and should just look for 95-96 turbo side skirts (curvier) or even 2gb Talon skirts then drop the car then look around for the Rdora (I think it's Rdora) 95-96 Eclipse rear lip, it's just an extra piece that goes along the bottom of your rear bumper, looks hella clean.. you'd save a ton of money and it would look very very original. I'll try and find a pic of that rear lip.
