Hey guys and girls i got a dsm again !!! My last eclipse was sold due too relocation. Gofer had tuned my last eclipse spyder gst. anyways i picked up a 98 gst for 700 dollars. bone stock blowen t25 . everything is working order and compression test was great! 170+ on all four.

I have a gt3076 laying around and never had the chance to use. I looked up spool times and info on this turbo. But this info varies soo much.

spool time?
tuning software? (v3) how do i get v3 into my car?
clearance with what manifold?

Is this turbo over kill for a daily?

I would like to run around 20psi (little on the lower side of the turbo i believe)


It has been awhile since i messed with dsms and my last one was set up b4 i bought it. Any help would be appreciated - Thank you

Impossible to guess- far too many variables (turbine housing spec, tuning, manifold type, etc).

tuning software?

Link or ECUFlash.

how do i get v3 into my car?

Buy a socketed EPROM ECU and V3 package, and follow the instructions on their site.

clearance with what manifold?

Again, varies by turbine housing type and scroll.

Is this turbo over kill for a daily?

Depends what you, personally, consider to be "daily". Some folks feel a 400-450hp daily driver is nothing out of the ordinary.

This^ gt35rs and hx40 size turbos on DD cars, very normal now a days

Thanks guys i plan on doing around 20psi nothing really more. But fool spool over or by 4k is kinda up there isnt it. I plan on running like 850cc injectors with link v3
