Ok, I have a turbo that is in excellent condition.

What does the stock O2 housing look like?

Will this turbo fit with a stock turbo manifold?

Are these Flanges different from a stock T25?

Basicly, I am asking if I buy a stock/oem intake manifold, O2 housing, J-pipe, and intake pipe fit this turbo shown in the pictures?

A friend let me have it off his 240sx, I asked if he had a T25 and this is what he brought me.

I am working off nothing here. My first DSM and I receive it in pieces and missing parts.

NO that will not fit on a mitsu flanged manifold. Nor is that even a DSM turbo.... I think. The o2 flanges are different as well. The inlet is completely different from a T25 turbo for a 2g DSM.

Also, if the 240 guy had a sr20, stock turbo is T28.

I believe the s15s came with T28s. The others are T25s. Op, look into getting the FP package (evo 3 turbo) if you don't mind spending a little more for their 2g install kit. Seems like a great deal.

Cool and not so cool. Thanks guys for the tips and amazing info. You guys are so smart.

Another quick question about my current 14B turbo I have in the Classifieds and now I am debating on taking it off and just looking to get a 14B/16G replacement.
I just dont wanna run SM class in autox because of a turbo.

Is this turbo salvagable?
There is a good bit of shaft play left to right, and a very slight in/out play.
The exhaust side is cracked around the wastegate flap.

Also, as you can see my manifold has a wastegate flange for the 14B. Can I just make a plate to block that off for an internal wastegate turbo and not worry about air flow?

That 14B's junk- half the compressor wheel has already been mowed down from rubbing the compressor cover. Compare how close your compressor is to the cover versus this rebuilt unit below:

Looks like that turbo has a T3 style flange

I wouldn't bother with that 14b. It's worth its weight in scrap metal. Hunt around for a 16g if you want more boost, however make sure you have a wideband, and some way to tune.

Okie dokie.. no plans on upgrading. Ill just toss this one to the side with all the other scrap metal. Thanks, ill keep looking for something. This project is definitly kicking my butt. Thanks for all the input.

Now hold on, why is it junk? Get a 2g manifold and port it and find a new compressor wheel and rebuild the turbo. Sure your turbine housing is cracked but they all crack, port that and your O2 housing and rebuild the turbo or sell it cheap to somone that will. Unless you already have all the necessary mods it would be alot easier for you to just stick with the 14b then to open the wallet and get a 16g.

Because you can buy a good 14B without a cracked turbine housing and a mowed-down compressor wheel for under $100.

Get a 2g manifold ($50) and port it (if you're fortunate enough to have the tools) and find a new compressor wheel ($60, plus a $50ish rebalance) and rebuild the turbo ($50-$75, depending where your parts are bought). Sure your turbine housing is <strike>cracked</strike> ruined but they all crack, port that and your O2 housing and rebuild the turbo or sell it cheap to somone that will. Do the math....it's cheaper to just buy a 16G.

The turbine housing cannot be saved. Once it's cracked so bad that the wastegate flapper can no longer seal or the wastegate chamber has a fault-sized crack leading directly into the turbine housing inlet, performance will suffer drastically. No amount of porting will save it- the porting will actually lead to more cracking because the metal will be thinner.

+100, I just TRIED to remove my cracks by porting and it was a waste of my time. Wouldn't recommend to any one. Just buy a new/used Turbo.

My 14b has cracks to. I found replacement turbine housings at Forced Performance that fits for the 14b and 16g, but they want $300. I asked if they could do a sale or something, but nothing yet.

It's cheaper to buy another 14b that doesn't have those issues.
