just wandering what would be a good option for a replacement turbo. i was leaning torwards the tdo5h extreme psi has and there install kit. im just going to be runnig stock psi until i get the suspension and tranny done on the car i plan on buying this kit next week is there any other options. anywhere i can get it cheaper? i should consider my t-25 is shot and looking for a decent replacement that wont fail on me after 5,000 miles :thumb:

16g or T-28 are the most common/easiest options.

I would go with a t-28, it has a bit more umpf before you get out of its efficiency range than the 16g. And you don't need any "install kit" just some gaskets.

thanks man i think you have changed my mind on the t-28 its not to much more price wise and i can get back to getting the other problems fixed.

Something you may want to consider if your current turbo is pooched and are going tot replace it, is to consider the ease of resale value your "new" turbo will have. Im not saying all, but most of us started small, and got the opportunity to feel the potential, till the day came when the current set up was no longer enough. Hence my advise is, when the time comes, try and get something that you know you can sell so you can use that $ to help upgrading to next step. just my .02 cents.
btw. 16g are monsters relatively speaking. There are some serious proven numbers with right set ups with them. Definetly a viable option.
