Turbo Oil Leak?

Hello, i have a forced performance big t28 and when i took the intake off and put my finger into the turbine housing to check for shaft play, my finger came out with oil on it from the outer wall around the actual turbine/fan. Can anyone please tell me if this is a serious problem and i need to do something about it (if so, please tell me what happened and how to fix it). I am also running pretty rich on the sensor so i was just wondering if maybe the sensor is picking up some oil and reading rich? or if that has anything to do with it. Thanks for the help

Two sources could be the cause here. There are three lines "recirculating" back into the intake pipe on an original setup. One should trace back to the valve cover. Sometimes oil will find its way down this line and into the intake pipe and turbo. This is where a catch-can comes in handy, to keep the oil from the intake tract but to allow the air to get through. The second source is simply the turbo's oil seal. If this is the problem, it would be wise to rebuild the turbo, but at the very least replace the seal.

FYI, the intake side of the turbocharger is the compressor side. The turbine is on the exhaust side and is not easily accessed by your fingers.
