turbo oil drain hitting downpipe

so im installing the turbo oil drain and after trimming the motor mount with the grinder to clear, i still have the line hitting the downpipe, i cannot bend it any further or turn it any more to gain any clearance. it is bearly touching the exhaust but it is touching enough

is there any long term problems?? does it get to hot for the line.
it is the stainless steel braided hose in a -12 size. the 45 degree fitting is on the turbo and the straigt one is on the oil pan.

switch it around, I had the 45 off the oil pan

i tried that but was still hitting the mount, guess i will have to cut more off the mount and install with 45 off the pan, thanks

Becarefull in how much material you grind off the motor mount, there under alot of force when your getting on the throttle.

Mine used to hit the downpipe too, (although I had the pushlock line) After awhile maybe like a year of DDing I got under the car and noticed the line dry rotted a lot! To the point were oil was seeping out of it. So I would say do your best to get it as far away from the DP as you can.

I heat wrapped my downpipe and it really helps bringing down the temps underneath the car

i cut more of the mount and tried flipping it and now my line is too short to go that route. i would have to get a new line and start front scratch if i was to flip the fittings. although i have moved it enough to where its sligtly rubbing up against it, but at the end of the day yes it still touches
