Hi
I need some help understanding the flow and connection points on the oil and cooling on my engine.
I disassembled the engine about 2 years ago so im having trouble remembering what goes where.

Im using a garrett gt3076 now that uses both oil and water cooling.
Im also going to use an aftermarket oil cooler that does not require water cooling.

Can someone tell me how the flow goes on a stock engine?
And how i should connect it now with the new turbo and oil cooler.

I know where the oil goes from the turbo to the pan, but is the oil originally taken from "6"?
And "7" is where i should tap in to get "oil from the head" to the turbo?

thank you Street Faze

does anyone else know what the other points are? or where i could find information about it.

i have the haynes manual but i cant find any information about the water connections to the turbo.

is "6" a water outlet?

i dont have the hoses or lines that belongs to the original turbo.

after alot of researching i think i got it right now.

"2" hooks up to "4"
"3" hooks up to "5"
"6" is the water outlet (from engine block to turbo)
"1" is the water return (from turbo back to engine block)

and as Street Faze said "7" is oil from block to turbo, but i dont think thats stock? as ive understood it the stock oil comes from the filter housing. but alot of people tap into that "7" instead.

can someone confirm that i got this sorted right please?

Yes that is correct. The oil cooler needs to be turned so that the lines will hook up properly. 2g's do feed from the oil filter housing from the factory. 1g's feed from the head.
