I know XMasta is lurkin around here somewhere, maybe he can help me out....on the second pic down.....what is that gold looking cylinder canister on the oil line?

Well my friend, that would be the sending unit for his electric oil pressure gauge. Some of us out there just don't like the idea of running oil lines up into the dash I guess. I have the autometer phantom, and I know chris also has an autometer electric one as well

yes its the sending unit, i got the sport comp one and its nice. oil lines in the cabin just didnt sit well with me, plus the electric one is only $10 more. definitely a good gauge to have. just to be safe.

yeah thats the sending unit, get it from www.summitracing.com i got the phantom gauges as well. Oh yeah, i am having some trouble starting my motor?????? take a look at the pics and lemme know if you see whats wrong????? thanks.

WhiteRs97.......Where did you get the braided stainless steel lines for the oil system? How much did it cost you? Can the russel brake oil braided lines from summit do that job? I know that the feed line is a -4an........what size is the return line size -___an??

Your stupid, its not starting because you dont have a filter on your turbo

yeah i thought that was the problem , the braided lines are -4an 6 foot section and a -10an 3 foot section. im not sure the pressure rating of brake lines im sure they will be fine. as long as they dont have a pressure rating of like 2psi. just go with the summit brand lines, they are cheaper and just as good and handle up to 1000psi, that pretty high oil pressure WTF

exhaust is now on....went with 3inch. Catco cat, summit resonator, dynomax 6inch round muffler(straight through design). Dunno how it sounds because the car still hasnt been crankced yet, had to find a tap for the CAT sensor so i can mount it in the stock thermostat housing. IC piping will be done on thursday.....but well see. ill drive it instead of trailer it to the muffler place for the ic piping, just wont run any boost and will have to hook up the old CAI, yeah itll run like crap with no boost but oh well. peace.
