i got my turbo in and my idle is fine
have a t3/t4 turbo, hks style bov, external wastegate 255 fuel pump and a 12:1 FMU, FMIC
every sensor is hoooked up and every vac lin is secure
all the hoses are tight on

when i take it out of the garage and give it some gas it stalls out and dies
but when am in nutrual i can rev it and hear the bov but when i go to first and give it some gas it stalls out and dies

any idea what the problem is???

thanks!!

So do you have a fp regulater one that raises the pressure at a 1:1 ratio under boost. If you dont you are overruning your stock fpr with that fuel pump. Put your old one back in and see if it works. Or go out and by one that raises at the 1:1 ratio(vary important or you wont be abel to tune later down the road.)

I don't see in your post where you mention any type of FCD (Fuel Cut Defender). If your turboing a N/T car you need either a Mechanical Missing link style FCD or an electronic style that tricks your MAP into not seeing boost. Sounds like your MAP sensor is seeing boost and you are getting fuel cut.

The 12:1 FMU is his rising rate regulator, although I highly suggest an adjustable regulator, 12:1 is an ok place to start but is really impossible to tune that way. For the N/T going turbo, a 1:1 is insufficient, only works for the turbo guys

I had 98 N/T Eagle Talon with a .48/.60 T3 and had the same issue your describing. The MAP sensors on the N/T's really hate to see boost :)

If you already have a FCD or it's not that causing the issue, do you build any boost?? or is it immediatly after pushing the pedal down??

Right on, 95RedTsiAwd. :thumb:

If you do have an FCD, it may be incorrectly adjusted. Start around 4.6V-4.7V and make adjustments from there.

4g63t: the 2gnt's FPR won't overrun with a 255.

i do have a missling link
but the wieird thing is now my boost gauge is reading is backward....when i step on it before it dies it goes to the vac side to 30 and never does go to the bost reading
