bad miss under load! bad car doesnt go anywhere!!!

So i fixed my miss fire all the time. after putting in 10 bucks of premium in my NT and a bottle of HEET additive so i can make it pass emmissions it started missing BAD so i checked the new wires i put on and 2 of em fell off so i fixed that. and there is still a bad miss under load or acceleration. so i put in regular unleaded gas to see if it would help.....made no difference..so i put in some fuel injector cleaner and it helped alittle but its still doing it....any suggestions?????? if i barely push on the gas it doesnt miss but if i accelerate or even in neutral just hit the gas it misses and back fires!!!

but it ran fine after tuning it up and putting regular unleaded gas in it. my dad and i were thinking that maybe the HEET and premium gas kicked up a bunch of crap in the tank and im not getting enough fuel ### maybe an injector is clogged? i cant see my ecu all of a sudden going out right after i get it running right

oh and also i think i mentioned it its a NT 4g63

still need help guys!!!! went and started it this morning and now it barely idles and if i go wot or even half way it wants to dye and the rpm do not go up!!!! story.. put premium in it and a bottle of HEET to pass emissions. ran fine. (after tune up) then i filled the tank up with regular unleaded gas and now it does this barely idles and doesnt accelerate and cant touch the gas or it wants to die

Have you changed the plugs yet? HEET and additives will foul plugs in no time as well as break loose debris and plug fuel filters.

Change your Fuel filter for sure. It could have kicked up a whole bunch of gunk.

Change plugs, of course.

well i replaced the filter and it didnt help i replaced the plugs and wires when i first got it like friday last week and it ran fine then all of a sudden it just started running like crap and now if i even touch the gas it bogs down and trys to die! fuel filter didnt help.....i know it isnt compression ### it ran fine after tuning it up....ecu maybe?

i live in CA and have never heard of using a bottle of HEET straight into the gas tank to help pass the sniffer. Ive use G2P (Guaranteed To Pass) before.

I know people use HEET for meth injection, but thats usually diluted 50/50 water/meth(HEET) mix. then again, i guess in your gas tank its injecting with fuel so it should be relatively the same.

Have you checked other sensors like the tps?

If the TPS isn't giving a signal it will definitely cause the car to die. As well as a bad MAF.

maf is fine and the fuel pump sounds like its about to blow up....its not a nice smooth hum.

In a N/T there is no reason for a big aftermarket pump. Replace it with a stock unit.

Also if you think about it, a stock pump and a winebro are basically the same price brand new ($90)

You said your wires fell off right? Well they probably burned up with all the spark jumping the gap inside the boot. Change them again; properly this time. Problem solved.

The TPS is what the ECU uses to correspond your timing curve with your throttle position. At idle the timing degree can be very high, but as soon as you give it throttle if the timing curve stays high you won't get any revs.

Any check engine lights while all of this is going on?

No non-turbo 2.0 requires 255lph of fuel. If he buys a 255 pump he'll also have to buy an adjustable pressure regulator, so more money spent on parts the car will never use.

You said it was running like crap even before the wires fell off....your positive you have the order correct. Its going to be 1 or 3 things, the spark, fuel or air. If your positive your getting air and spark, make sure you intake and air is all good.

I keep a spare set of working 4g6x wires at my shop just for nonbelievers like you. They've been whored out overnight on many DSMs while the new set of NGKs are overnighted to my local Advance auto parts store.

you can send me 5 bucks ### i re replaced the plugs and wires and put em on in correct order and i still cant hit the gas. i backed the BISS screw on the throttle body off so it would stay running on its own. and it smells like its running really lean....and as soon as i hit the gas it bogs out and misses bad....still.

sorry if that last post sounded like i was being mean or something im just very frustrated with this car right now i was a mechanic for 6 years but ive never actually worked on a dsm 4g63...:-( im replacing the fuel pump this weekend so ill post if it doesnt fix it...thanks guys for ## input and help i really appreciate it
