Turbo headers make a diff?

wondering if an aftermarket exhuast manifold will be a wise performance choice i hear alot of opinions not sure what to beleive? also a fuel rail?? need more power!!!

manifold will help. You should get a little bit more flow/faster spool. There's NO reason to be upgrading your fuel rail anytime soon. unless it's to make it "pretty" don't worry about that. Look into a manifold though. :thumb:
 
Turbo headers will help, but not in the classical sense that they don't scavenge. Non turbo headers follow an exhaust pulse with another timed pulse which is actually pulled through the collector by the previous pulse. Turbos being turbos don't need this. However look at any very highly tuned 4g63 and there's an exhaust header. Now, do you need it absolutely for mild to moderate power? Not really as the 2g manifold flows well and won't crack like the 1g manifold. There's a lot of opinions and thoughts on the subject. Just build wisely and do the little things first before increasing horsepower substancially. Once you get quite above stock, you are going to be changing a lot of things to keep up.

I would upgrade your turbo, injectors, get a better tunning device, up the boost, THEN worry about getting an after market exhaust manifold unless the sole purpose of it is to run a full garret turbo. It won't do anything for you on a bored out t25.
 
I agree, from your listed mods it looks like you're pretty good all around but that T25 has got to go. A nice Evo III would go nicely in there and after a good tune give you way more horsepower at that same boost pressure.
