I have a 1g. and its the plymouth laser fwd and i have the stock 14b turbo in it and i noticed that the oil feed lines are leaking and they appear to be leaking where the washers are. now i have been looking around the forums and could not find what the size`of these washers is. according to the diagrams i have looked at i will need 6 of them. If anyone knows the size and what kind of washers i should get which i am pretty sure they are copper crush washers it would be a great help
Thanks :thumb:

yup, it should... did you try just tightening the banjo bolt? those washers are reusable so many times. its usually not the washer. you can buy the lines again for cheep and they come with the washers you need.

actually no i have not tried to tighten that banjo bolt yet. i just figure that it will be better off with just a new set of washers. its a very small leak but an oil deprived turbo is a great way to ruin one.

Wrong. The copper crush washer is ONE TIME USE ONLY. You "can" reuse them a second time if you heat it up with a torch before using it. But just buy new ones, don't reuse them....they're not meant to be reused.

ive used my copper washers id say 15+ times and still work... they get a bit crushed but they seem to hold just fine...!!!

I bought some napa 12mm/standard size copper crush washers that are not 12mm exactly but are close in size. The inside diameter is the same but the outside is way to big, am I going to have problems? He said he could get 12mm crush washers for 29cents but had to order them, is there anything special about the mitsu 12mm and 10mm copper crush washers?

Anyone have 2x12mm and 2x10mm copper crush washers they would sell or know where to get them that I don't have to spend $20 minimum for my purchase from forced?

I tighened the washers I have on there a little bit more but I am guessing they are going to leak again, I will find out tomorrow.

Usually as long as the ID is the same your fine. But I've used Autozone/Napa crush washers, never worked for me. I stick with OEM or Fastenal stores

Fastenal stores? What are you getting from them? A 12mm copper crush washer or is it a special part number? I am also looking for the 2x10mm and satan is a pretty long drive for me. I could go to chrysler but if there is something at fastenall let me know what you get. I'm using them on a 14b.

I'm beginning to think about just buying this line http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1G-D...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Just to fallow up for anyone searching it seems the only way to go is to RTV the crush washers so they seal because my new oem washers still didn't seal. Heat them up with a torch and coat them with rtv, if your not a dumb ass then you wont get to much rtv in the oil passage. This leak is what is keeping my car from its full potencial, I feel like this same thing happened to me a few years ago when I was really a noob but now I feel like one damit!

Just a fallow up for anyone else with a mitsu turbo that is leaking from the turbo oil feed line. This kit, 1G DSM Eclipse 4G63 Stainless Turbo Oil Feed Line 16G | eBay Is the way to go! I tryed using new crush washers on the stock oil feed line and it still wouldn't seal. I got this kit and put it on and no leaks so far, it appears that this is the way to go, get the bonehead performance mitsu oil feed line if you are leaking oil. And don't strip your threads on the head for the bolt trying to tighten it more so it doesn't leak, you don't wan't to have to helicoil the head if you are careful unlike me. They also make a 2g kit as well.
