ok Guys, i was driving the other night and my car started making funny sounds. when id pin it, i couldnt hear the turbo beacause there was this louder soundtaking over.. ht ebest way to describe it would be a throughty sounding supercharger whine. anyway, the next day it kept making this sound and then i floored it and i heard a popping sound, almost like a hose popped off somewhere. anyways, since that happened, i havent had any boost what so ever. i still have vaccum pressure, but when i give it gas, or drive it, the boost needle stops at 0 PSI. i checked all the turbo related hoses i could see, i think, but there all connected, now when i drive, its like driving an esi, slow as shit but it still runs!?!?
can anybody help me? in case a mods list will help, i ve got autometer boost, turbonetics mbc, hacked can. thanks guys

Yea, the 'supercharger whine' sound eminating from a turbo is a sure sign of failure in the near future. Mine completely died about 2 months after hearing the whine. As for the loud popping noise, I agree with BUCK in that it is probably a boost leak. Does the car idle at all after the popping noise? When I blow off an I/C hose, it makes that noise, but doesn't idle because of all the leaking/sucking unmetered air. If its not an I/C hose, do a boost leak test. Any shaft play or oil leakage from the turbo?

the car doesnt idle at all i have to rev it at likke 800 or above to keep it going. also i found little oil leaks all over the street which must be my car. how do you deal with the leaking unmetered air?
