hi

symptoms:
sometimes ago boost drop from 17-18 psi to 11-12.
check all pipes and IC. there is no leak. Just not can boost more than 12 psi....
Next few days ago start blue-gray smoke while hard on gas and BIG smoke when after WOT left accelerator and change gears. That smoke is biggest when not at WOT but just after WOT when change gears.
Oil consuption is not issue so no evidence oil in intake (but my IC is big) too.
So what you thinking?
thanks for answers

well since you did all of that try checking the turbo itself. take of the intake arm and look inside at the comp wheel. check for play and if it's hitting the housing at all. also check if it spins freely. if it's locked upor the blades are chewed then your turbo is definately dead.

plus i see you did the 4g63 swap, do you have the stock t25 on it? if so the turbo is probably shot since you're running 17-18 psi. if you ran it for long then you probably wore the turbo out prematurely.

I have 4g63 from 1990 DSM turbo 5 speed so have 14b turbo. I have two stage MBCs so have 12 psi set at LO and 17 psi at HI settings. HI was used rare. About shaft play. Yes it have up-down play (for me it is big play) and forth-back play too. Up-down is about 1 mm and forth-back is about less. That big play was always since I have that used turbo ie about 8 months. But now it is looks as is bigger.
