I decided to look at my turbo when I was in the process of taking the sliencer out of my air intrake. Anyway I spun the whell and it spun and it didn't have any shaftplay (or at least I didn't think it did) I recently posted a post about my boost going to 5psi. To go into more detail at around 4500 to 5000 it only has 1-2 psi then right befor it shifts it jumps to 5 psi. Could my guage be bad because the turbo spins fine and doesn't have any shaft play, or could it be just bad gaskets. I need ideas befoe I go and buy another turbo. One more thing it's an auto, but once that goes out it wilbe manual. One more thing (this is the last) There may be an exust leak, but don't know if it's before or after the turbo. I haven't found it yet, but it has that sound that cars have when there is a leak. Sorry for the long post I guess I just talk a lot.

thanks Derek

well does the turbo feel likes it's boosting more than 1-2 psi on the butt dyno.
