well the turbo doesn't move in and out at all but it has a Little play when u spin it but i did a awd dyno and well i just have exhaust down pipe and thats it i think the dyno was a Little off set or something because the car feels like more hp then that

Can you take a pic of the inlet of the turbo? If the compressor wheel sxed in something and chip a wheel or blade i would look in the intercooler, intake, piping to see if you can find what it was. How many psi was you doing?

p.s oh yeah it think the person that fixed my car up a Little proably tryed messing with the compressor wheel proably thought if u stuck a flat head in there that it hold it when the other side has the part u can hold it at stupid guy

I see it, can you get a pair of needle nose pliers to get it out? but you may want to consider rebuild or maybe buy a 16g or something else but dont take it back to the guy to fix it. I never though i could change mine, but i did 5 times in 3 months. Its not that hard.

is this gonna b a problem i know it proably wont boost as good anymore which sucks but do u think it would affect driving till i get money to rebuild cause it is a brand new turbo was installed only 40 thousand miles ago

well when i look at it that pic is a Little blurry cause its from my camera phone but it looks like a part of the blade and i was stomped when i saw it i was like what the :notgood:

I would say its not safe to drive on, due to now the turbo is off balance and gonna sux that and the metal shavings from the broken wheel into your intake and valves and it will throw the balance off even more and the bearins inside will seperate and youll get metal into you oil pan and bearings and stuff, and if it goes on the worse that could happen is you will need a new motor. So i say to park it or find one to replace it.

Depends on what is savable and how bad yours is messed up, maybe a few hundred, or if you do it yourself like 100 but you still need to have a shop balance the turbo wheel once its replaced, cause if you dont it will tear its self apart due to the imbalance.

yeah I'm gonna check Around at junk yards and call around to shops if I'm lucky id proably come across a good turbo for cheap at a junk yard i mean not cheap proably couple hundred Cause i don't have 600 to a grand for a new one i wish but yeah I'm gonna do some calling around

yeah melloeclipse flat head in the compressor wheel no wonder my turbo has been acting strange boost flys all over the place sometime and sometimes it just sticks at 7 and I'm like what the cause Ive tighten all the hoses down boost leak test plenty of times and take the turbo out today and find a hole in the compressor wheel
