hey guys need help tunning a 1996 gsx 2.0 problams it has no power at the low end but arter 5000 rpm it wakes up and goes but its like beating a dead dog at the low end dont know why timeing or what dont know base timing or finle time dont know what to doo pleace help thanks mike

maybe you have a boost leak.. just a thought..have you done a boost test?
and has the car been maintained good?

yes new motor no boost leak it seems like timming dont know iam stuck

When you say new motor Like? rebuild or shipped?

No power at the bottom end, could be any number of things. Why go straight to timing, unless you rebuild your motor and dont know how to do timing? check systems fuel, ignition, intake, exhaust, vucuum, then think about maybe timing or something more internal.

Ok big cams more likely to be timing. Look up your specific cams find some info Good luck

ok thanks for the help so running 16 dergs of bace timing what do you think the powers is fine after the methnol kicks in at 10 pounds of boost but its getting there thats the problam

Stock base timing is to be set at 5 degrees...

With the timing connector connected to ground of course
