Tuning with SAFCII and MAFT help

I will be tuning with the SafcII again this year but i am adding the Maft for blowthru purposes. I am running the pte 50 trim and i am looking into getting 780cc injectors. I know its hard to tune 650 and up on a Afc, but my main question is can i just use the Maft to compensate for the injectors and be ok for now? I dont have an eprom yet and will be getting dsmlink later on this year but need a decent tune until then. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, you can compinsate for larger injectors on the translator.

YES as Grits said, you can dial in the 780's with the MAFT then do your fine tuning with the SAFC, that is how I ran my car for over a yr before I bought DSMlink for my car... The tricky part will keeping timing under control when in boost. Since you'll be taking out a bunch of fuelk by fooling the ECU into seeing less air it will raise timing. This can cause some knock at WOT if its too high. Make sure you have a logger when you start tuning, it's not something you can do "by the seat of your pants" or "butt dyno"

Yes, too much ignition timing advance. It's going to be quite a headache to tune with piggy backs on 780's.
