I hate starting threads but this is my last ditch effort. DSMr's help prevent a suicide.

Ugh here it goes..THREE PITA problems.

1. Car stalls when rev's drop or shifting. Replaced the MAF & TPS. ISC is new. IDLE AIR CLAMP IS ENABLED.

2. Coolant temp displayed via DsmLink. Temp showing upwards of 280 Degrees. New coolant temp sensor, wires also in the correct terminals. Even with the car on the ON position the coolant temp rises...also goes up when i press down the gas. CLUSTER READS FINE.

3. TPS is now stuck at 30%. Won't move with the gas pedal nor TPS adjust within link.

Please no replies like boost leaks or fouled plugs, you will be ignored. I'm leaning towards a bad ECU but there is no visible damage, caps are fresh. Sensor Ground looks fine.

I will send someone a 10 year old MOMO shift knob if they can help solve all three mysteries. ROFL

Logs and pictures help greatly than words. You may think the board is fine but perhaps someone else can spot a difference.

Aside from doing a boost leak test, have you at least tried recirculating your BOV to see if the problem goes away?

Did you test the TPS at all? TPS Adjustment Did it just happen out of the blue?

I had a 2g MAF that was recirculated. Same problems.

TPS was adjusted at one point but when i installed the GM MAF i think it got out of wack. I'm getting power to my ground wire on my TPS for some strange reason...Also i heard my ECU make a very loud tick for about 20 seconds. I seriously looked over every millimeter of the board. No burn/leaks or odd smell.

Also i bought the car with the stalling out problem. I think i need to go out on a limb and just buy another eprom.

thats why i asked about your codes, it kind of sounded like a o2 sensor. My car likes to do the same thing when i leak exaust and my o2 pours fuel. It also sounds like your cas is 180 degrees out of time. I would recheck this... Is the tps new?

TPS is brand new. I need to find out why am i getting power to the negative wire on the TPS?

I don't understand how i'm the only one who's had their coolant temp reading go up to 280...

Do you have a bad ground wire or maybe an accidental ground where rubbing may occure??? It sounds like your temp guage is getting maxed out and an electrical ground issue is my first thought.

1: needs a new O2 sensor
2: Dsmlink can get f%$ked
3: Need to adjust the throttle cable in the bay, get off your ass and grab a 10mm

Ill pm you my addy. Thnx

I'd start with all the one's in the engine bay. Negitive-firewall. Motor-firewall. Ect. Then move into the cockpit and check for any accidental power grounds. And check all your fuses too. You never know.

EDIT: I'd also replace your o2 since you said it was throwin that code and your car is stalling out

A buddy of mine has the same stalling issue as you and it started after he put in a light weight flywheel. From what I understand its too light and when its down revving it doesn't have enough inertia to keep the engine running. I had a problem in my old dsm my datalogger was reading 240* coolant temps but the dash gauge was right in the middle. After checking everything I started tapping on the gauge cluster and wouldn't you know the temp gauge on the dash starting going up right into the red zone. So it was my dash gauge that was sticking but my coolant temps were def that hot cause I was spewing coolant out of the overflow bottle. Does your car over heat all? I would have to assume if your coolant temps were really 280* you would of F'd something up by now. Its got to be something electrical. Yes that big exhaust leak is def throwing off your o2 readings. What do your fuel trims look like?
