I just got my TurboXs H34 on my car last night. I have it recirculating so yea no venting here. Just curious to how the washers affect the BOV. When I tried running it with 6 washers in it seemed to idle rough and had what seemed to be boost hesitation. I'm currently running stock 11psi btw. When I used 1 washer the BOV seemed to whoosh at a much lower speed when I let the throttle go, but I'd imagine that it will leak but unlike 6 washers my car idled great. Anyone wanna give me some advice on getting the right setup or maybe giving me a lesson on tuning this thing just right?

I am running about 15psi and I use 3 washers. Too much shouldn't really affect your idling. If you played with teb H34 before you put it on the car and put the washers in you would have seen it's harder to push the valve in and out. Less washers/less pressure so it's not really tuning it's more of the more boost you are considering the more washers you should put in. Like I stated before I put 3 washers in and only running 15 psi and my car seemed to spool a lot faster so I have no idea why you would idle rough/hesitation I would check for leaks and/or make sure that you have the security nuts on real tight.

Well having more tension will keep the piston from moving could this unpset my A/F ratio because the pressure is taking a longer time to build up and its not sending the air thru so maybe its doing the same thing as venting except not releasing air. So what I'm trying to say is the air isnt going thru until the car is hitting hi-speed/hi pressure so the air is not going thru when it should.

alright thanks for the heads up.... How many washers you think would be godo with the stock 11 psi?

I would start out with four and then try three and see how it does.

I always used either 3 or 4-- any more than that would cause flutter. Use as many as you can without it fluttering, cuz that will help keep it from leaking. Also, make sure you lube the piston with some oil or grease or something.
