Tuners in Illinois

Hey guys newbie on the board and I need some help. I'm new to the whole sport compact thing (Corvette Guy) and I just bought a 1995 Eagle Talon Tsi FWD and I was wondering if anyone knew of any reputable tuners in Illinois? Thanks a bunch

I am going to need to replace the suspension on the car(shocks and struts and lowering springs), so a shop for that. Everything else (boost controller, turbo timer, header, downpipe, up-pipe, exhaust, intake, cams and cam sprockets, intercooler, and anything else that might interest me at a later time) I can do myself. I've worked on Civics and Integras too so I familiar with some of the products that are offered by companies. I just want to know more about what is out there for the DSM's in the area. Thanks for your input.

Where is Tinley Park located? And yes I agree with the previous poster. AMS has a good reputation. Most of the speed shops I use are over in Missouri (I like 15 minutes from STL). So other than AMS I can't reccomend one.

I would onlt trust this guy to work on my car and no one else. Most of the work that has been done on my car has been done by myself. Except for the clutch, flywheel, and lsd he put in over summer. He really knows alot about dsm's and he won't charge you an arm and a leg to have anything done to it. He also gets parts for very very cheap.

I'm located about 25 to 30 min south of Chicago. Places NW of Chicago or even W of Chicago are fine with me because if your familiar with LS1 Speed than you probably have seen me in that area, whether it was in my T/A WS6, Camaro SS, or my Vette.
