tunerpro DA not connecting...

I'm currently trying log with tunerpro on a 1993 talon and i followed the guide posted by MY1GDSM. I can't connect to the ECU, it says DA Connecting... and doesnt do anything else. I'm using WIN 7, the keyspan 19HS adapter with a homemade logger cable and the ostrich. I tried to log with tunerpro on a 1g with DSMLINK 2.5 and the DSMLINK cable but that didn't work either. I have been troubleshooting this for days check and re-checked everything. So new imput would be appreciated thanks.

Have you tried the cable with a known working logging setup to eliminate that as a possible cause? Verified drivers and settings within TunerPro? The COM port can be different between machines, but generally only the one that's plugged in will show up in the configuration box.

Tunerpro is the first logger I've used other then DSMLINK. So the cable could be the problem i'm going to test tunerpro with my brother's LINK cable and if that doesn't work. Then more Troubleshooting!
The COM port changed on me before it was 3 then at 5 and then at 1. it would just randomly change so i adjusted the keydriver settings to comport 3 and it reconizes the cable every time now.
The Drivers I'd need are for the keyspan, have those. The drivers for the cable i used the LINK cable drivers. Any others?

Those should be the only drivers you need. COM3 is the port I use also so that should work fine. I've been using Link's 1G logging cable with great success so hopefully you'll have luck with your brother's.

I got it to work. i bought a V3 cable and it connected instantly. thanks.
