Ok so I am wondering if I am ok to drive around rite now or should I just go get a tune since I may hurt the car....
My list of Mods include:
Turboback catless exhaust
Stock turbo for now but will be upgrading to a Bigt28 very soon
Ebay intake
1g BOV
MBC set to stock boost
CX Racing FMIC
Boost & Oil PSI Gauge

Just want to make sure I dont hurt the car any rite now since this is just the 1st step and if you know of any other Mods that you think I should do please let me know dont wanna waste a Thread for no reason.

No im not to much of a newb I owned an Evo IX MR before it was taken from me in an accident where I was hit so I know a fair share about DSM and 4G63's just trying to get a better feel for the 2g's now so all help is appriciate and I do search alot LOL

Ok well thanks for the quick response I just wasnt sure since most of what ive read seem to tell me that these car are quite picky about things haha.
Now once I put the 14b on will i still be ok as long as I leave the boost at stock pressure?
Wideband A/F will be coming with the 14b..

ya with the 14b youll be fine if you leave it at stock

if you up the boost to over 15psi then your gonna have to get

bigger fuel pump
bigger injectors
and of a tune with your wideband and a safc of some sort

but countless guys have raised the boost on 1g s and 2gs up to 15psi and have had no problems wither it be the 14b or the t25 in your 2g

I'm running a 255 fuel pump, 450cc injectors, and 18 Psi, stock exhaust w\ muffler cut off, tubular manifold, etc. the most tuning you should do is just ignition\Timing and find the sweet spot for your boost.

As far as I know you really don't need to tune unless you have alot of electronics done or something similar. like 750cc injectors and a E3B16G or something similar and or cammed. I know having aftermarket cams like 272's always calls for a tune.

Well thanks that really helps so I will add that to the list of things that I will get in the future but as for now im just slowly modding the car and making sure i know everything little thing!
