I just bought a 95 talon tsi awd... I noticed i rattle when the turbo spolls i checked all the bolts on the heat shield and for rust spots could it be something elice?

need to be more specific. Rattling could be anything from a loose panel to a turbo on the way out the door. a rattle while the turbo is spooling doesnt sound too great. have you checked that everything is well secured on your exhaust and within the engine bay that may rattle?

My guess is you have a loose heat shield on your exhaust somewhere. I would check them all. Especially the downpipe if it is stock. On one of my cars it was held on by big hose clamps when I first got it. Anyways, check all the heat shields.

If that's not it, then go into more detail on this rattle.

I checked all the heat shields, they where all tight and yes it is stock outside in the cold not putting
A boast and oil gauge in the car now. Ill be able to got into more detal in a little bit. I am also preussure testing the intake and all the prevented maintenance i found on another form

Turbo has no shaft play but i found the problem ... How about the top bold on the back of the power steering pump was out and hitting the heat shiels LOL. 1 12 mm box wrench did the trick . Now for one more question with the manual boost controller what should stock boost be befor turned up or down with the new gauage its pishing 14_16 psi. Is that a hogh or low number

Can you PLEASE update your profile information? We like to help, but only if we know what we're helping. On stock injectors 16psi is about pushing it. Please go to your profile and add what turbo, gauges, air-metering system, exhaust and if you have link. It helps a ton.
