in the process of building a six bolt. Noticed that a 1g trigger plate is needed. Trigger plate....for what? I know the 2g's have a trigger plate for the crank sensor, but what is the trigger plate for on the 6bolt in a 2g swap? I cant find it in caps. Even if you could tell me where this trigger plate is located I could figure out what its for in caps. Thanks.

Any news on this? I have the same question...I was under the assumption that the crank sprocket and other pieces were swappable from 7-bolt to 6-bolt.
its not a trigger plate, but the 1g has the timing marks in a diff spot then the 2g.
