So yesterday while I was assembling my engine I bent my crank trigger plate, I did this when I was spinning the crank and then I felt some resistance, then noticed I had bent my trigger plate, it had gotten really out of shape after it had contacted the bolt that sits right underneath the plate. But the thing is before it bent on the bolt it had contacted the balance shaft tensioner pulley when I tried spinning the crank. Could that have caused it to bend just enough to hit the bolt? Just wanted to know so I don't mess up a new trigger plate in the same way.

It shouldn't hit or be close to any bolts... Was it on backwards? Did it still go through the sensor
