So I just recently got my motor together and have two problems.

Ticking sound coming from the crank trigger plate/crank position sensor. I had my motor before crankwalk on me, would that have ruined one or both of the aforementioned parts to the point that it would be ticking lick a m'er f'er?

Whenever I begin to let out the clutch (car is in the air) to just run it through the gears, it starts to sound like it is grinding in the drivetrain... It doesn't make the sound except when I let the clutch out IN GEAR. If in neutral it won't do it, I can push in and out and it is okay, I can put it in and shift just fine but if I begin to let it out in gear in gets scary. I have not had the balls or maybe I just have too much sense to let it out any further than the first sign of it making noise..

Please help, I will love you all if you do.

im assuming the slave cylinder has grease in it... did you replace the shift fork or throw out bearing or clutch and pressure plate ### they might be mis alighed by a hair

Motor has 0 miles on it, so the following parts are brand new.

Clutch fork
Pivot Ball
TOB
TOB clip
Clutch slave cylinder
Stainless clutch line
Clutch
Stepped Flywheel

Clutch alignment tool was used during assembly BTW

Make sure the sensor didn't get knicked by the crank positions sensor plate.
