i have searched this question and tried what Iv found with no avail.

I have the motor and tranny pulled from my car and the tranny is loose from the block no bolts left in or anything attached, the tranny will not come more the 3/4" off the block. I resorted to a 4 ft bar and prying to get it off but after I got angry and threw it across the shop I gave up.

Any ideas? Lol

^^ it's all unbolted there is nothing holding it together I can push the tranny in and pull it out 3/4" past the motor/tranny roll pin and then turn the tranny seperate from the block but that's as far as it will come.

If you have all the bolts removed and the trans only separates about an inch from the block all the way around, there might be a possibility the clutch disk got welded to the input shaft from heat, or the splines on the input shaft might have gotten very distorted to the point where the input shaft can't slide out of the clutch disk.

Was the clutch fully operational before the tear down?

The tcase is still on the tranny but can not see anything connected there? And the car had no drive train issues at all also has a tre 1.5 tranny in the car. The car had no compression in 2 cylinders is the reason for the tare down.

Where's it specifically say that ?

In the OP's first post....Second sentence.....
