Transmission to engine bolt question, please help

Ok i put the tranny back onto the engine and tightend the bolts but the one on the back bottom of the engine (where it goes in backwards through the block then into the tranny) threads are gone now, i need to get this back in and i dont have time to pull it all back out but question is if it ok to leave it like that, the 3 other bolts are tight and good...

It might hold....it might not.

It's there for a reason, but it's definitely your call on that one. You can now figure that if 4 bolts hold it on, and you're leaving one out....you've just reduced the load carrying capacity by 25% minimum.

I personally would take the time now and do it right as the consequences of an ear breaking off the block or damage to the bellhousing will cause a lot more grief than just pulling the tranny back out and fixing the problem.
