420A transmission swap

I have an automatic 2g Eclipse RS and I was thinking about swapping the transmission. How hard would this be, how much would it cost and what parts would be needed?

I have a place to do the work myself. Just need some guidance on how to do it.

IT kind of depends on how mechanically inclined you are. One person might be able to do it in a few hours, and one might take 2 weeks. It's a fairly simple job if you have a transmission jack. Basicaly its just:

drain fluid
remove lower fender plastic
remove axles
unbolt starter
remove flex plate bolts
unhook shift linkage and electrical plugs
unhook oil cooler lines
drop crossmember
remove transmission mount
unbolt bellhousing bolts
remove

Take your time if your not in a rush a few hours, basic time, as far as time depends on you. Its pretty simple to do. I used my car jack and a buddy to install it, clockwork now.
