Transmission scraping noise

My tranny makes this constant "scraping" noise when i drive it, its not super loud but it is loud enough to hear over the road noise and engine and it only seems to do it at above 20mph. It doesnt matter what gear im in and it even does it in neutral (doesnt matter if the clutch is in or out) and the only way to make it stop is to grab the shifter and slightly pull back on it. Ive searched through numerous threads and havent found any that were helpful at all. Ive never heard of an issue like this before and i dont even know where to start, please help

Hey, I've got this same issue! My scraping noise is terrible. You hear it over the radio and exhaust. People look at me like my car is going to explode. May I suggest the input pilot bearing is a common culprit in this scraping noise. Whether it's on the tranny side, or on the engine side (I believe there are two).

This constant scraping has been going on for 2 years, and yesterday my transmission finally locked up (No rotation whatsoever).

Hey guys i had a problem like this last year and it was the throwout bearing, im also having this problem again and i think cause i have more power than it can handle. idk how much hp these trannies can handle but i hope this helps.
