Transmission questions

I'm pretty sure I have a 7-bolt engine, and I need a new transmission.

Do I need a transmission that also came from a 7 bolt engine, or are they completely interchangeable?(Did they change the transmissions when the changed the motor?)

The non-turbo transmissions are geared lower correct? How much of a difference is there?

Are there any other differences between the turbo and n/a transmissions?
(maximum hp it can handle stock, durability, etc?)

You can interchange them and the turbo trannies are stronger, as far as gearing goes I don't know the answer there.

After looking in the vFAQ, I've determined that the information is in the Factory Repair manuals.

Anyone have one on hand by any chance?
