transmission oil cooler.

i had a quick question about the transmission oil cooler. is it possible to install one without having to connect it through the radiator? So just bypassing the radiator all together and just having it be air cooled? sorry about the neewby question, but i could not find an acurate answer in the forums. thank you

Should be fine as long as you get a decent one. Do it all the time. My 97 gsx has one and my 68 442.
