2G Transmission info

I have a friend who has a 95 gst fwd. I had a piece of the tranny break. I am wondering if it can be replaced? Sorry for the crappy pic. Its the part below the teeth

I think thats part of the clutch housing which is all one piece. Mine was damaged on 1g awd and shep trans said there are 2 options, repair sleeve or the housing needs to be replaced. Not sure if the sleeve needs housing to be removed.

Its the collar right below the spline for the input shaft. I didn't know if I could just replace the collar or if I would have to source a whole shaft or tranny. And could it be welded?

Or is that collar part of something more? I dont know what it attaches too. I never have ripped my trannys apart. I've got lucky and all mine shift like butter

Jafromobile suggests on replacing that sleeve if it's worn. I'll see if I can find a video or something.

If I remember correctly you can only address that piece on a 2g. 1g its part of the housing.

Yup that's correct, luckily for him he has a 2G
