Transmission Bolts

I am looking for the transmission bolts especially the 43.5mm one. I found most of the at home depot is that good enough. Also i was thinking getting a 45mm and shaving it down to 43.5mm and rethreading it. Will that do it?

i wouldn't do it and the use is also depends on how important this bolt is gonna be.

Generally rethreading is not good for the bolts. you can get away with it, depending on the use.

Don't try to cut/re-thread your bolts, that just sounds ridiculous. If anything, just put some washers on it. Better yet, order new oem bolts because they're cheaper than the hardware store bolts.
