My car started leaking tanny oil like crazy the other day so i jacked it up to check it out. i noticed that 2 of my tranny bolts were missing. the two with the dowel pins, the front lower one and the rear lower one. i was able to get a replacement bolt for the rear from a hardware store but i have a bigger problem on the front. the area on the block that the bolt threads into completely broke off the block so theres no way to attach the transmission right there. when someone pushes the clutch it seperates alittle from the motor in that area. even with those two bolts gone though i could still shift and drive the car just fine as long as there was tranny fluid in there.

I want to know what kind of damages this can cause not having that bolt and if anyone can figure out a fix for this without me having to buy a new block or motor. also should replacing just the rear bolt fix my leak? all the fluid was right in that area near the speedometer cable. THANKS

its a 90 awd talon 5spd

That's... really bad. If you don't have enough bolts to spread the load evenly you'll crack the case doing that which you may have done...
