Transistor pack??

Can someone tell me what the transistor pack does, the one that is right under the fuel rail.
Mine is gone, Doesn't the car need that in oreder to run?
Where can i get one with part of a harness attached.. looked at some junk yards around here, but no 2g turbos can be found..

Without the transistor pack, your car will not start. It is apart of your ignition system. Have you started your car? What are the problems your experiencing? We need more details.

Well the car used to run. then i had engine problems (see previous posts)
trying to finish up my 6 bolt swap. and some how, my transistor pack got cut off and mis-placed. So this creates a HUGE problem for me. All i have now is a few wires just kinda chillin. I REALLY need to get this thing up and running (soon as it gets re-timed for the millionth time (timeing belt was REALLY loose).

What does the Transistor pack do? where can i get one with a pigtail on it?
