Tranny rebuild, swap evo III internals into 1gs

Is anybody made this before?? someone can tell, if order parts from evo III tranny such as 1 gear, 2nd gear (with double synchros), 3rd and 4th gear (with double synchros) and may be few more parts... Can it be put into 1g 90 tranny simply instead of stock parts???

I'm sure someone had to try it before?

i already did and he offered me a full evo III gear cluster - 1730 USD - not very cheap, i think if i'll order parts separately not all cluster toghether it could be cheaper for my budget, so just wanned to know may be someone else did something similar to find out more details

I know it can be done, I have some EVO3 internals in my tranny but be careful not to change the final drive ratio. If you do it can cause problems with your rear end.

Yeah, for sure it can! I want to change 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gers (of course leave stock final drive). i'd like to find out wich parts will i need to do it exept: 1st gear + synchro, 2nd gear + double synchro, 1-2 hub & sleeve, 3rd gear + double synchro, 4th gear + double synchro, 3-4 hub & sleeve, springs and keys...

Do i need some more parts to install it as bolt on into stock awd 90 tranny? did anybody do it himself or know some more about it?
