ok guys, i really need some help. my car won't go into gear at all when its running. when i turn the car off, i can put it in gear then start it. but i have to push the clutch allll the way to the floor (i mean, i almost have to push it through the floor if u know what i mean) and then it barely wants to start (like the clutch isn't pushed in all the way). When it starts, i can feel the clutch engaging. when i give it some gas and let out more clutch, the clutch doesn't grab all the way.....i'm pretty sure its the clutch, just wanted to get some of u guys opinions.....thanks for the help!!!!

well i just bought the car (i knew it had a tranny problem). he told me he replaced the engine and tranny about 2 years ago and he replaced the clutch at the same time. he said he went to put it into gear one day and it made a clunk noise and wouldn't go into gear anymore.....thanks for the help...........

if the clutch is still good, it could be throw-out bearing.....also, check the master and slave cylinders for leaks and check your fluid level.
