Finally got the car back to the track since the shootout.
Setup
Buschur Racing Shortblock
Curt brown 2g head
evo 3 manifold (ported by curt brown)
Fp Exhust mani
FP DSM 76 HTA
1g Auto
3" Turbo Back exhaust
MegaSquirt ECU tuned by Early Performance
NO NITROUS

Car went 10.7 at 130 at the shootout this year with a crappy 60'
Spoke with the auto guru himself Jeff bush and he gave me some things to try to help get the car out of the hole.

Few dial in passes found a best of 10.1. Made some final tweak adjustments to the tune.
Final pass it went down the track 9.76 @ 138

This turbo ROCKS. Special thanks to the crew at Forced Performance for a kick ass turbo! there will never be another turbo on my car other than FP.
Curt Brown for the help,Brick and Wayne for the tips, Jeff Bush on a crash course on launching an auto, Jared and Kevin at Early Performance for the dyno time and tune! My home boy Chuck for those long nights wrenching on the car and added research he gave on this build. Drove the car an hr to the track, switched wheels and tires, raced, bolted the street tires back on and drove it home. One fun street car.

Car looks bad azz man. Very nice 60'. Are you on the stock stall converter? I wanting to move up from the hta68 but dont want to use Nitrous to get off the line. how is the low range with that turbo?

Thanks guys. I was hoping for a 10.4-10.2 pass. First pass off the street was 10.1

The car weighs in probably right around 3k with me in it. I run the car with a full exhaust that has a mid muffler and a Magnaflow muffler.

This was on a SinisterSpeed converter.
Full boost by 4000 and I shift the car at 9000-9200 and its not falling out of power. Def one bad ass turbo. FP FTW!

It took a stock restall and 3 Sinister converters to get it to stall reasonably with acceptable slip. It stalls up in about 6 seconds, and Deric builds rpm as he creeps into the beams.

The 1.77 60 ft times and 10.7 @ 130 passes at the shootout were on the same sinister converter, but a low boost tune of 23-24 psi and no vacuum pump. I believe the launch rpm was 3500 then.

This past weekend the car was on a new 34-35 psi tune, with a vacuum pump and 3700 rpm launches. As you can see, the result was a 1.37 60 ft. The first past netted a 1.58 60 ft and 10.1 et because the car was pushing thru the brakes and low on boost coming off the line. When I saw the launch on the 2nd and final run of the day, I knew in was in the 9s.

And for comparison sake, this car in AUTO form pulls harder than my 5-spd talon did with a Precision 3582 at 40 psi. The power band is unbelievable on this 3076. FP definitely FTW on one sick street car with no bottles to refill!

Congrats bro sick setup.

2 questions.
Oil cap? Is that one of the vented ones? Looks different
Exhaust mani, is there a cover over it? Looks mean like its on steroids.

That is a hal laundry oil cap. Additional blow by control. This motor though has hardly any blowby.
Yeah there is a manifold blanket over the FP manifold. Had the manufacturer dye it black for me.

Sick work man! Care to share the cam profile as asked previously? Also, if you can share the info on the manufacturer of the exhaust mani blanket it would be greatly appreciated! Nice job, Ill be keeping tabs on your progress!

performance turbo products I believe. It looks it anyways. They are listed in the supporting vendors list, second to last in the list

Damn!,I never woulda thought that little fawker had a 138mph trap in it!

Yeah I had it at the flashlight drags at the end of sept and won the Top street with it

It went 10.7 on street tires the first pass at the shootout. My street tires are only 24.5 I think. i would run out of gearing on them.

Thanks for posting up the turbo blanket info. I was about to start looking through my emails to find it. Awesome guy to deal with. Highly recommend his product!

Turbo def makes some power. I love this turbo!

The car is on E85

The 10.1 pass my buddy shot. well some of it anyway.
