TPS help!

I am just wondering what the symptoms of a bad TPS would be? the nut on the spring side of the throttle body was wrenched on!! so my guess is its broke. heres the kicker though, i went out earlier with a buddy and tuned my safc and every thing ran amazing; it a strong pull and every thing. i go to a gas station fill up start the car put it in reverse and it can't get past 1500 i put in gear and the same out come and when you give it gas it just bounces up and down between 1500 to 2k in gear and out not like a surge more like a ( rev rev rev rev) not like a surge being like a (rev down rev down rev down)!! any ideas what this all could mean would be great if you need info let me know and i will report! thanks

try messing with the biss screw.... mine had the same problems.... idk seemed to work
