Why dosent my talon go faster then 180

Pretty general issue there your explaining, in sure someone could help if you elaborated. That could be 10,000 things. Is your car stock 100%

180...?.. shit mine still stock and goes faster than that... ,, but ya smokes right it could be alot of things.. Welcome to DSM's .. if your not mechanicaly inclined its going to be tough but i would say you need to do alot of homework and read the forums for trouble shooting its educational value at its best or your going to spend a shit tone of money for part hard to find,, but if you wanna sell ill buy it..... 91s are more challenging (parts wize) than 2gs aside from thrust but any engine can get that if your build aint proper..

91 dsm parts are not hard to find. I run a 6 bolt..

I was looking on kijiji there is few people parting out their cars. Theres a 91 talon awd, and lots of 2g parts. Hes from my city windsor. Bought a cylinder head from him couple days ago, runs amazing. Messege him if you guys need parts. But for me 2g parts are more than 1g but 1g can be found also.

Ya its stock and I am thinking of selling her and getting my 95 up and running but 91 is a head turner I've got alot of complients on my dented slighty rusted talon and she doesn't burn oil but she dose need a catch can

Ok boys, we got 2 DSM meets comin up back to back this september. one is a hamilton run (hamilton ring) on september 2nd and the other is a long run starting north of peterborough and continuing to the sand banks beaches on september 7th.

Your profile says it's a TSI so I'm assume it's a FWD. FWD cars have a speed limiter.
Plus you shouldn't be going that fast on public roads.

no, it something we use to say rather then street race.

When I drove my car from Toronto to Newfoundland a Civic coupe was trying to race me in butt #### no where Quebec. I ignored him for a bit but finally said screw it and jammed her into 3rd and walked on it. By the time I got back into 5th, the Civic was a small speck in my rear view and my speedo was wrapped right around.....
