Ran fine for the 2 min drive home then I went to turn the fuel pressure down a tad because Im having problems with that too which I have a thread on. http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1254072#post1254072

Then all of a sudden the car started running like crap on me, it sputters really bad when I gave it any gas and and at idle the exhaust is really making the "putt putt putt" noise and is sometimes popping. Is my car somehow running too rich now? Anyone have any idea?

Hmm.. did you mess something up when you changed your fuel pressure? :p If you're sure you did it right, keep an open mind and check the obvious things--plugs/wires/boost leaks.

No iv changed the fuel pressure a million times I didnt do anything wrong. How can you tell if its been installed upside down?

I also forgot to mention my egts are like 400 degrees at idle when normally they are 800-900.

They pulled the battery to get to the filter and now the ecu is relearning after being reset.
It's common to run like crap for a short while the ecu works things out.

there should be an arrow on the side of the filter that says 'flow ---->'

The top of the filter says out so Im assuming thats the correct way. I am so lost on this thing. I just dont understand why it started running so crappy. I did find a little gas leaking around the afpr, but it was just a little wet, not like it was squirting. Could my afpr broke somehow would that small of a leak make that much of a difference? Also I just want to note my vacuum is still where its always been at idle and want to again remind that my egts are only at 400 degrees now at idle. I could really use some help guys I don't know what to do.

Took afpr off tightened it all up put it back on now leaky around regulator, but didnt do a damn thing for my problem. Please help.

Well, what if there was crap in the fuel that was backed up to the filter? naah i dunno.

But i am suprised someone running AFC and modded car would take it to the dealer. Most of them can barely handle working on a stock DSM, much less a highly modified one;)

And just for a fuel filter you went to the dealer?

I wonder what they did. Or maybe just a coincidence.

When is the last time you insepcted your ECU? Is it in great shape? Might be worth a minute to open it and sniff test it.

Especially since the ECU can cause so many different types of symptoms.

2g ECU's arent as known to be as problematic as 1g ecu's

egt = 400 ? that seems almost imposible. u got spark on all 4?
Id almost think what ever runner your EGT probe is on, isnt fireing.
Also check that same injector.
