My car seems to be running too rich. When I press the gas paddle, the air flow meter on the guage is mostly on the rich side. I have an AFC II controller. I don't know much about tuning. Can I just decrease the air correction factor setting by 1 or 2 to lean it out a little for the time being before I get it professionally tuned? Is this a bad thing to do?

that blinky light doesnt do anything but blink.when you press the pedal, the injectors add fuel to speed up,this is normal.get a datalogger or get it tuned by a professional.and you shouldnt touch that s-afc if you dont know how/why to tune.youll blow it up.

My settings are around -2 to -8...i was thinking about dropping them to -4 to -10. Changing it from -2 to -4 is going to blow it up! You guys make it seem like everything so fragile. I am pretty sure nothing is going to blow up.

Just dont count to much on your a/f gauge. It is mainly a estimate and playing around with your afc is not going to blow up your engine if you dont make drastic changes.
