running too rich

i just put m/t tsi injectors in my n/t talon. it is running really rich and i think that the timing is messed up. i think it should be advance a little but will that be the answer. im also getting a turbo cam installed. that will increase the air coming into the engine. will that fix or help it? need some help. thanks in advanced

Those 450cc injectors are way too much for the little amount of modifications that your car has and you dont have any type of fuel management to control them like an apexi safc. You wont need them unless you start doing some serious engine work. My best suggestion would be to go back to the stock ones and advance timing by 2 degrees and the car will run alot better. Stock ignition timing should be 5*BTDC in case you didnt know that. heres a link on how to adjust it.

Yeah... very true... those injectors are overkill for a rather stock NT car. best bet to go back to your stockers as mentioned above. Even your stock NT injectors have some room for improvements in your engine, for instance: intake, exhaust, headers, head work, and mild cams.

Unless you have a nicely ported and milled head, oversized valves, higher compression pistons upgraded cams, nitrous or turbo you won't need bigger injectors.
