I just installed a Walbro 190 LPH fuel pump, and the car doesn't have as much power as with the stock pump. I've got stock injectors. Is this because I'm running richer w/ the walbro? Can this be fixed w/ DSM link (on the way)?

You may be rich w/o a logger you can't tell, with something like a link you can tell if your rich and correct it a little bit.

Are you running stock boost too?

as everyone knows with more fuel you need more air :)

same with more boost(me for example)

when i get up to 15 PSI it almost bucks a little bit(not to hard i know its not fuel cut) drops down to 13 PSI then up to 15 then down to 13

im not getting enough fuel to match how much air im putting in to my engine

so chances are your doing just the oppisite if your not running higher boost

I'm running 15 psig boost. The Walbro pump has a higher flow capacity than the stock pump, so I don't think I'm running lean. The car still runs ok, but it ran better with the stock pump.

These small blips in a fuel curve van be caused by both lean and rich conditions. I was tuning my Safc and when I got going it would blip alittle then keep on going. In my case, it was a rich point. So unless you have a logger of some sort, you are going to be hard pressed to see what is going on exactly.

Hope I shed some light.:thumb:
